Angela Soriano, 97y/o, passed away to everlasting life on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020. She
was Born in El Salvador, C.A., became a USA citizen in 2012 and a resident of Newport News
since 2017.
Mrs. Soriano was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique A. Chavez and her sons Francisco
and Jorge Chavez. She is survived by her daughters Ana Rivera, Lidia Madrid, Victoria Lara and
Angela Phipps; also twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Vincent DePaul

Nació en El Salvador, C.A. Obtuvo ciudadana de los Estados Unidos de América en 2012 y era
residente de la ciudad de Newport News desde el 2017.
La precedieron su esposo: Enrique A. Chavez y sus hijos Francisco y Jorge Chavez. Le sobreviven
sus hijas Ana Rivera, Lidia Madrid, Victoria Lara y Ángela Phipps; También sus veintidós nietos,
veinticinco bisnietos y cuatro tataranietos.
Se oficiará una Misa de Cuerpo Presente el día Lunes 28 de Diciembre de 2020, a las 10:00am en
la Iglesia Saint Vincent DePaul en Newport News. Aquellos que gusten acompañarnos
